The Annual Downtown Christmas Parade is GOING AHEAD TODAY at 1:00 pm Sunday, November 28.

Join us Downtown this Sunday, November 28 at 1:00 pm for the Annual Downtown St. John’s Christmas Parade. It’s the largest annual event in the province and the biggest parade east of Montreal. 

Letters to Santa will be collected along the Parade route by the staff of Canada Post. Newfoundland Power employess will also be collecting food and money along the route in aid of the Community Food Sharing Association (CFSA).

Parking will be available at throughout the Downtown. Please be advised that Parking will not be permitted along the Parade Route or at the Aliant building (and overflow lot) on Factory Lane. The Parking Garage, Fortis parking lots, Delta Hotel, Cabot building, City Hall parking garage, Murray Premises, etc will all be available for Parking during the Parade. Some lots will be accepting donations for local charities in exchange for parking. Mobility Impaired parking will be available at the St. John’s Convention Center with a special reserved outdoor viewing section at the Post Office on Water Street.
