Over the years the Downtown Development Commission has commissioned and sponsored several studies and reports in relation to downtown. These reports date as far back as the 1960′s and up to the most recent released in March 2003.

Copies of older reports such as the Malone Given Parsons report titled St. John’s Downtown Development Strategy and Marketing Study, completed in 1990, are available for viewing at the DDC offices.

Other more recent studies available are the Downtown St. John’s Strategy for Economic Development and Heritage Preservation by Canning & Pitt Associates released in June 2001. The follow-up study released in March 2003 by the PHB Group titled St. John’s Heritage Areas, Heritage Buildings and Public Views is available as well.

Please feel free to drop by the DDC offices at 155 Water Street, Suite 202 to view any of these reports, as well as any others on file.
