Motorists are advised that snow removal and/or street widening operations are scheduled from Wednesday, January 31 2024 at 11:00 pm until Thursday, February 1 2024 at 6:00 am, and vehicles must be removed during snow removal operations. To avoid being ticketed or towed, vehicles should be moved from the following 16 streets before the operations begin.

The Annual Downtown St. John’s Buskers Festival is a highly anticipated event for the whole family.
With three stages set within the downtown core, you’re welcome to move between each one to see a number of performances, which occur every hour from noon to 9 pm daily (last show starts at 8:00 pm and finishes at 9:00 pm).

Internationally renowned and motivationally captivating, Martika, the one woman stunt show, hails from Kansas City, MO- USA. Raised in a military family, Martika grew comfortable constantly moving about the globe from a young age. Learning from the best instructors the world of circus has to offer, this delightfully dangerous daredevil studied circus arts, fire, escapology, and a slew of sideshow skill sets before ever taking a stage. Twelve years under her belt she entertains with innovative stunts such as barbed wire hula hooping. All the while incorporating informative uplifting messages in her shows. Martika’s main message? No matter how terrifying a goal may be, it is achievable.
What is it about Mike Wood that makes him seem like such an ideal long-term partner? He can make you laugh until you snort. Is that it? He’s good with kids, your Mom loves him, and he builds things with his hands. Is that it? He can fold a fitted sheet solo, ride a bike that steers in reverse, and catch a catapulted cabbage on a spike on his head? Is THAT it? Or… does it all come down to his fabulous hair?

Cirque’letics school of circus arts invites you to join them for their vertical wall dance presentation on the side of Atlantic Place in Ayre’s Cove. They are a St. John’s based performance and acrobatic company comprised of amazing local talent. Be amazed as their dancers present a full choreographed performance on the side of an 8 story building.
