Purchasing tickets in advance through the Holy Heart Box Office is highly recommended. \nThe Seafarer’s Requiem is a Celtic and classical fusion that combines the Requiem Mass and seafarer songs with tales of true stories taken from archives and documentaries about mariners and the people they leave behind. \nArtistic director: Stephen Candow\nFemale storyteller: Anita Best\nMale storyteller: Jim Payne\nSoprano soloists: Adriana Power and Rebekah Lee\nMezzo-soprano soloist: Alanna Fraize\nTenor soloist: Kingsley Alozie\nBass soloist: Nick Leblanc\nAccompanied by: several members of The Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra\nHost: Paula Gale of CBC Radio’s The Broadcast \nComposed by Mary Knickle\, The Seafarer’s Requiem is a profoundly haunting piece.
