Daze Jefferies (she/her) is a white settler artist, writer, and educator. Her multidisciplinary projects exploring queer, trans, and sex worker counter-histories have been exhibited and performed at The Rooms, Eastern Edge, Grenfell Art Gallery, and Union House Arts. She is the recipient of the 2023 Emerging Artist Award and 2025 Milestone Award from VANL-CARFAC. She is also the author of oceanleaving (2026).
Holdable shadow, erodible caress is described by Daze as ‘A love for rural and sea-touched foremothers is embodied in textile, sculptural, and media works.’
Free public viewing hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 12PM to 4PM until October 16th, 2026.
