Downtown has over 3,000 parking spaces between on-street parking, private spaces, and those offered by the City of St. Johns.
On-Street Parking
The City of St. Johns manages on-street parking downtown, which is available on Water Street, Duckworth Street, Harbour Drive, and surrounding streets. Parking is free after 6 p.m. on weekdays, all day on weekends, and on statutory holidays.
During the weekdays, you can pay to park on-street with the PayByPhone app or on the PayByPhone website. Prefer to pay in-person? No problem! Pay stations are available throughout downtown. Although they are cash-free, they offer multiple payment options, including most credit cards, debit cards and mobile payment.

Private Parking
There are several privately-owned parking lots, garages, and spaces throughout the downtown that offer a combination of hourly, daily and permit parking.
