Each year during the fall, the Newfoundland and Labrador Historic Trust organizes a Doors Open event. This one day event sees museums, historic sites, churches, and other buildings open their doors to the public, free of charge, so that we can all appreciate the cultural and architectural beauty of our built heritage.
Doors Open is a unique opportunity for the citizens of Newfoundland and Labrador to celebrate our built heritage.
Buildings that are normally closed to the public or charge an entrance fee welcome visitors to look around for free.
