The City is accepting applications from business owners who are planning to build an outdoor parklet. An application is required for every business planning to build a parklet.

Parklet Application Information
Business owners are encouraged to start the application process as soon as possible. Please note that some permit and application fees have been reinstated.
There are two checklists available to guide businesses through the parklet application process, based on location:

For businesses located on City owned land, a discretionary use application has been approved to allow parklets on city land. The areas approved for parklets are outlined on the attached map, which includes downtown and Churchill Square.

For businesses located on privately owned land, or outside the approved city owned areas, the application process will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks. If you are located in these areas, you are encouraged to review the checklist and begin the application process as soon as possible.
