Motorists are advised that snow removal and/or street widening operations are in effect tonight. Vehicles must be removed from the following streets from 12:30 to 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, as snow removal is in effect. To avoid being ticketed or towed, vehicles should be moved from the following 12 streets before midnight tonight.

1. Beck’s Cove (Water St to Harbour Dr)
2. Bishop’s Cove (Water St to Harbour Dr)
3. Clift’s Baird’s Cove (Water St to Harbour Dr)
4. Duckworth St (Bates Hill to Queen’s Rd)
5. Harbour Dr (Job’s Cove to Water St)
6. Job’s Cove (Water St to Harbour Dr)
7. Mcbride’s Hill (Duckworth St to Water St)
8. New Gower St (Duckworth St to Hamilton Ave)
9. Queen’s Rd (Bulley St to Duckworth St)
10. Waldegrave St (New Gower St to Water St)
11. Water St (Prescott St to Temperance St)
12. Water St (Clift’s Baird’s Cove to Waldegrave St)

Vehicles impeding the snow removal operation will be removed and impounded at the owner’s expense. The towing and administration fee is $250, and the impounding fee is $25 each day the vehicle is held in storage. If proof of registration and insurance is not provided the vehicle can only be towed, not driven, from the impound lot.
