Motorists are advised that snow removal and/or street widening operations are scheduled from Wednesday, February 12 2025 at 11:00 pm until Thursday, February 13 2025 at 6:00 am, and vehicles must be removed during snow removal operations. To avoid being ticketed or towed, vehicles should be moved. The streets highlighted below are within the Downtown St. John’s Business Commission area:

1. Adelaide St (New Gower St to Water St)
2. Bates Hill (Queen’s Rd to Duckworth St)
3. Cathedral St (Queen’s Rd to Duckworth St)
4. Church Hill (Gower St to Duckworth St)
5. Cochrane St (Duckworth St to Water St)
6. Duckworth St (Quidi Vidi Rd to Queen’s Rd)
7. George St (Queen St to Water St)
8. Hill O’chips (Duckworth St to Water St)
9. Holloway St (Gower St to Water St)
10. Mcbride’s Hill (Duckworth St to Water St)
11. Prescott St (Duckworth St to Water St)
12. Queen St (New Gower St to Water St)
13. St. John’s Lane (Duckworth St to Water St)
14. Temperance St (Duckworth St to Water St)
15. Water St (Temperance St to Waldegrave St)

Vehicles impeding the snow removal operation will be removed and impounded at the owner’s expense. The towing and administration fee is $250, and the impounding fee is $25 each day the vehicle is held in storage. If proof of registration and insurance is not provided, the vehicle can only be towed (not driven) from the impound lot.
